Fill out the commercial credit application. It takes about 15 minutes if you have the details below ready.
We review and set up
Our sales and credit team confirms your business, checks references and sets your terms. Your territory rep will reach out.
Log in and order
You'll get website access to see pricing and live inventory and place orders online, or call your rep.

Have this ready for the application
The application is a secure online form. Gathering these details first keeps it quick and speeds up approval.
- Business
- Registered company name, operating name, business type, date established, phone and estimated annual volume.
- Tax
- Tax ID number. If you are tax exempt, upload your exemption documents with the application.
- Addresses
- Ship-to address, plus mailing address if it is different.
- Terms
- Requested payment terms (credit card or Net 30) and the credit limit you're requesting.
- Trade references
- Three credit or trade references with name, address, email and phone.
- Owners / officers
- Name, title and contact details for up to two owners or officers.
- Banking
- Bank name, branch number and your account manager's contact details.
- Accounts payable
- AP email and phone. Invoices, credit memos and monthly statements are sent to this email.
- Purchasing
- Whether you need purchase orders, and who is authorized to buy on the account.
- Signature
- Signed by an owner or authorized officer.

Jim Bell opened JB's Automotive as a small Edmonton speed shop in 1966 and started the Performance North wholesale division in 1977. In the early 1990s he acquired DIX Performance and renamed it DIX Performance North.
Today we supply shops across Canada with over 220 product lines and same-day shipping, and we're members of SEMA, AAM Parts Pro / Total Truck and CAN.

Common questions
How long does approval take?
It depends mostly on how complete the application is and how quickly your trade references and bank respond. If you have a job waiting, call 1-800-661-9327 or your territory rep after you submit.
I already buy from DIX. Do I need to apply again?
No. Existing customers only need website access. Use Request Access and we'll link your login to your account. If your business has a new owner or a new location, fill out the application and choose that reason.
Can I open an account as a consumer?
No. DIX Performance North is a wholesale distributor and opens accounts for businesses only. Your local DIX dealer can help with retail purchases.
What payment terms are available?
You can request credit card or Net 30 terms on the application. Net 30 terms and credit limits are set after our credit review.
We're tax exempt. What do you need?
Answer yes to the tax-exempt question on the application and upload your exemption documents. We'll apply it to your account during setup.
